After the disastrous recall of Galaxy Note 7 because of the battery issue, it is perhaps a bold move by the company to carry out Note series but it looks like it worth as the they have came up with full plotting to regain the trust of their customers.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Release Date
Galaxy Note 8 had got hyped with its very first teaser launch on 22nd of June. It got released on the internet on 24th August. However Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has got launched in India on 12th September, the pre-orders have started way before and the phone will be start shipping and get into the carrier stores on 15th September. In India it will be available from 21st September.
Redefining The Note Series
Samsung Galaxy Note series has been known for its extra ordinary innovations. We have always found some cool stuffs with each succession of the series and that’s the reason I personally love them. After the fail of Galaxy Note 7, somehow this series had lost its grace but Samsung has returned it with its new Samsung note Smartphone. Note 8 has a whole new set of parameters and is ready to set its new benchmarks.
Samsung Note 8 Price
The price of Galaxy Note8 can be disappointing for some of its fans. The tagline of Samsung Galaxy Note 8 “Do Bigger Things” looks like it resembles not only the features but the price also. It is the most expensive Smartphone of the company so far as I have already mentioned, but how much exactly it will cost? So the answer to this question is, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has been launched in India with the base price of 67,900 INR.
Samsung Galaxy Note8 is available in only one storage option that is 64GB. It is expendable up to 256GB via micro SD card. When we talk about the color variants then it is rich in this field and like Galaxy S8 it also has a set of 8 color variants in which the midnight black is the main attraction.
The thing makes it look different is color of camera and its surrounding. Unlike others on which we have seen it with the same color as the phone, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will have a black surrounding of the camera in all the color variations, and this looks quite interesting.
If you are having a Samsung Galaxy S8 then you are quite familiar with the design of this new Samsung Note Smartphone. The design is quite similar of both of these phones. The body is fully made up of glass on the front and back and the perimeters are of metals.
The difference is on the edges. Galaxy Note 8 is more of a square and having sharp edges than the Galaxy S8. The finger print scanner is located side by side of the camera and this is again the most inappropriate position as the previous phones.
The main focus of Galaxy Note 8 is its Infinity display with 6.3 inches Screen which is bigger than ever. The best part is that instead of making the entire phone bigger and uncomfortable to increase the screen size, the company has made it almost bezel-less. With the aspect ratio of 18.5:9, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 goes taller but not wider which makes it comfortable with the grips. The Super AMOLED Screen technology gives it high contrast and sharper colors.
The screen resolution of Galaxy Note 8 is 3K QHD+ that is 2960×1440 pixels, which gives the crispier display experience but the default resolution is set on 1080p which can be change in the settings.
The other key focus of Samsung galaxy Note 8 is its camera. Samsung has come with its first ever dual rear camera phone with the Note 8. Both the lenses comprise with the 12MP sensor. The main camera has f/1.7 aperture whereas the second telephoto lens is having 2X optical zoom with f/2.4 aperture. The portrait mode which is called Live Focus in Samsung uses both the cameras to give a depth to the pictures.
The other competitors with dual back camera offer OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) in only one lens whereas Samsung is the first which is adding it to both the rear cameras.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 gives more manual control to the users on their camera which is again another key feature of it.
Performance, Storage & Battery
The Super powerful Galaxy Note 8 runs on Samsung’s Exynos 8995 (10nm) octa-core CPU. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 processor and to give a flawless experience it comes with 6GB of RAM but that doesn’t make a huge difference and it works almost like the 4GB RAM galaxy S8. The 64GB internal storage can be increased up to 256GB via Micro SD card.
Fast wireless as well as wired charging compensates with the comparatively small battery with 3300 mAh capacity.
There is something new and that is the dedicated button for Samsung personal assistant Bixby. Bixby can now understand and respond to English and Samsung is going to launch Bixby in India by the end of the year and this makes it interesting for the Indian users.
Galaxy Note 8 performs simply great. The company has worked on the problems for which we have always complaint like the sluggish performance and their blotwares. The brand new software is all set to remove the problems and give the best ever experience with Samsung Galaxy Note 8.
The biggest attraction of Samsung Note Smartphones which make them different from others is the S Pen. It makes it extremely convenient to work on your mobile. There isn’t so much new with the S Pen in Samsung Galaxy Note 8. The improvement is, it will come with a sharper tip and pressure sensitivity. The new “live messages” feature which can automatically convert the handwritten note into GIFs is the feature which lets us to take the advantage of S Pen.
The “always-on” feature is another new thing. it can be used as a notepad and user can take notes up to 100 pages with the S Pen on it without bothering to unlock the screen.
